As a photographer, one of my goals is to capture an interesting moment that can live on forever. Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Egmont Key along with a few other exciting natural hotspots in Florida. During these trips, I had encounters with many species of birds, beautiful flowers, scenery and a tortoise!
Photos don't always come out the way one would expect. Nature photography is unpredictable and can lead to either quirky, spectacular, interesting or odd pictures!
But, if you keep the lens at them long enough, you can get some pretty spectacular shots.
Nature photography can be pretty difficult, especially when you arrive at your destination with a specific shot in mind. But, with patience and practice, you can capture a shot of even the fastest bee.
Other times, it may be preferable to record a short video rather than photographing an animal. If a picture is worth a thousand words, how much might a video be worth? For the simple enjoyment of re-living some of my experiences, I have recorded two videos that I will share with you.
